During my stay, I found Herschel Park, which is perfect for a nice afternoon walk, and it was great to visit the nearby Slough Museum, where I learned a bit about the local history, making my city strolls enjoyable and informative.

We had a two-night stay and the food was incredible, especially the chicken biryani—definitely a highlight! The spacious rooms were comfortable and well-kept. The overall ambiance was quite charming.

Had a great time with my friends! We hit up Bray Marina for some boating fun and also played a round at Mill Ride Golf and Country Club, which was a blast. Perfect for a group getaway. Just keep in mind to manage your expectations about the room decor.

One downside was the lack of helpfulness from the staff when we needed to check in early. We had a big group and it felt a bit patronizing to be charged extra for that.

the baylis has a spectacular main building that is currently being renovated. our standard twin room was comfortable, with great tea and coffee facilities. the staff at reception were extremely helpful, even providing extra supplies and local takeaway info. the nearby function room was gorgeous for the wedding!

The food was really good, although I found the room decor a bit outdated, which didn’t ruin my experience at all. The comfortable beds and good tea/coffee facilities stood out during the stay. the remote for the TV was quite worn, and some of the tiles were not properly laid, which caused hazards. Noise from outside was intrusive, and some facilities felt like they could use a refresh.

The Baylis fuses history with comfort. The grand entrance captivated my imagination, reminiscent of France's historic estates. A little more attention to cleanliness would enhance the experience. Nonetheless, the staff's dedication to service truly stood out during our memorable stay.

The room was pretty bad. I got bitten by something within minutes of being there, and it smelled like raw sewage outside my window. I ended up sleeping in my van instead of in the room. Just not a good experience at all.
